Rosalind "Robin" Elma Gibson

Rosalind  “Robin” Gibson age 65 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Robin was born in Orlando, Florida on June 8, 1961. In addition to her parents, Earl and Eleanor, she was preceded in death by husband Lee Gibson and sister Diane Kirby.

Robin lived a life of service to others. In Healthcare, she was a CNA, and later a nursing home Activities Director. She felt great joy in cooking large,homemade meals and sharing them generously with family, friends and neighbors,creating a special kind of warmth and memories.

She is survived by two daughters  Annette Marshall of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Cortni Hogan of Hillsborough, North Carolina; son Michael Hogan of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; sisters Audrey Hogan of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Anne Ezell of Winnabow, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Ed and Cheryl Litton of Lewisville, North Carolina; grandchildren Caden, Cullen, Karmen, Mason and Jack; aunt Lynn Williamson of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; several beloved nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.

A memorial service for Robin will be held in the near future.
