Roseanna Yvonne Carico age 64 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Roseanna was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina on January 4, 1951 to the late Charles Earon and Guida Melton Carico.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Larry and Sharon Carico of Woodlawn, Virginia; a niece Dr. Kerri Gray and her husband Dr. Anthony Gray of Bristol, Tennessee; a nephew and his wife Delane and Kathy Carico of Fancy Gap, Virginia; great nieces and nephews Shonda Carico, Justin Carico, Sydney Gray and Paisley Gray; an aunt Jo Melton; uncle and aunt Rupert and Nell Rose Melton.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 12 noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Michael Senter officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Melton Cemetery on the Joy Ranch Road. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Community Chapel Church, C/O Clifford Horton, 674 Crooked Creek Road, Galax, Virginia 24333.
