Rose Ilene Williams Noblett age 94 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday November 21, 2006 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. She was born in Grayson County, Va. on March 10, 1912 to the late Marvin James & Lethia Elsie Vaughan Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carlie David Noblett. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Patsy & Charles Wilson of Marion, Indiana; Mary Elsie Noblett of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina; Nell & Charles Shumate of Troutdale, Va.; son & daughter-in-law Robert & Carol Noblett of Independence, Va.;sisters Kate Williams Bledsoe of Galax, Va.; Ruby Williams Funk of Independence, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Harold & Nacny Williams of Fries, Va.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Gloria Lancaster Rhudy and Rev. Dennis Wingate officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
