Rose Reeves Liddle age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Liddle was born in Grayson County, Virginia on October 29, 1923 to R.P. "Press" & Gussie Shumate Reeves. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul P. Liddle, Sr.. She is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law Paul P. Liddle Jr. & Joyce; Charles W. Liddle; brother & sister-in-law Joe & Elizabeth Reeves all of Galax, Va.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Joe Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in Gladeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from seven until nine pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
