Rose Joan Bauguess Osborne

Rose Joan Bauguess Osborne age 92 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Osborne was born on May 20, 1934 in Maryland to Glen W. and Rosa J. Kilby Bauguess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Osborne, Jr. and nine siblings.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Denise and Michael Hagy of Lower Lake, California; two grandchildren Jessica Taliaferro; and Oreda Hagy; two great-grandchildren Brooke Alhajj and Michael Taliaferro; three great-great-grandchildren Olivia Alhajj; Christopher Alhajj and Hazel Taliaferro.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Matthew Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
