Rosa Fern Higgins age 68 of High Point, North Carolina passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the High Point Regional Hospital. Ms. Higgins was born on February 1, 1940 in Trenton, New Jersey to Lauren P. & Fern Davis Higgins. In addition to her mother of Galax, Va. she is survived by her son Allen Smith of Raleigh, North Carolina; a brother Floyd Higgins of Roanoke, Va.; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Marvin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from ten until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
