Ronnie Lee Carico, age 75, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday February 2, 2024 in his home.

Ronnie was born on November 12, 1948 in Galax, Virginia to the late James and Faye Higgins Carico. He was also preceded in death by his sister Debra Carico and brothers Thomas Carico and Dennis Carico.

He is survived by his wife Janie Carico of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Adam and Jessica Carico of Galax, Virginia; sisters and spouses Geneva and Clifford Horton of Tennessee, Linda Sumner of Galax, Virginia, Brenda and Larry Carpenter of Galax, Virginia, Mary Carico of Galax, Virginia; brothers and their spouses Rodger and Norma Carico of Galax, Virginia, Kenneth and Debbie Carico of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law Audrey Carico and Nancy Carico; and grandsons Elijah Carico and Micah Carico.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday February 7, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Junior Bullion officiating and burial to follow in the Monta Vista cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 6, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
