Ronella Lowe Herring's Obituary
Ronella Lowe Herring, age 71, Fries, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mrs. Herring was born June 13, 1945 in Low Gap, NC to Hoyt and Alene Dena Lowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Luis Herring; two brothers Robert Lowe and Kenneth Lowe.
She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Dena and Kenneth Bracy of Luray, VA; son & fiancé, Douglas Merrill and Theresa Kofrin of Richmond, VA; step-children Lonya Herring of Richmond, Va. and Lewis Herring of Richmond, Virginia. She was dearly loved and cared for by her sisters Frances Brewer; Marcella and husband Jerry Hall all of Fries, Virginia.She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Vondene Lowe and Shirley Lowe of Grafton, VA.. She was also love by many nieces and nephews and their children. She will be missed and remembered by many special friends as well.
A memorial service in honor and celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the Fries Theater in Fries, Virginia as well as a private family memorial to be held at a later date.
She was an avid worker and supporter of the Fries Renovation Theater Project and the family asked that in lieu of flowers or food donations be made to the Fries Theater Renovation Project. P.O. Box 441, Fries, Virginia 24330 in her honor.
