Ronald Dale Young age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday at his home.

Ronald was born on October 21, 1952 in Grayson County, Virginia to James and Nannie Sprulin Young  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Esther Lee Jones Young.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Clara Caudell of Cana, Virginia; Barbara and Scottie Brown of Galax Virginia; Christy and Anthony Brooks of Paris, Tennessee; sons and daughter-in-law  Jimmy and Michelle Blackburn of Concord, South Carolina; Michael Blackburn of Galax Virginia; sister Rose Ward of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Roger Young of Galax, Virgnia; Jerry and Rocky Young; Dean and Jean Young all of Fries, Virginia; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Dave Anders officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
