Ronald Franklin "Ronnie" Freeman age 65 of Fancy Gap, Virginia passed away Wednesday November 2, 2022 at his home.

Ronnie was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on November 21, 1956 to Harliss and Marie Hess Freeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Jessica Freeman.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Freeman; daughter Kristy Freeman; sons Kevin Freeman all of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Josh Freeman of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina; step-mother Leona Freeman of Fancy Gap, Virginia;  brothers and sister-in-law James Alan and Angela Freeman; Terry Freeman all of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; four half-sisters; one step-brother; one half-brother; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday November 12 ^th at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Inurnment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
