Ronald Lee Ayers age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at his home.
Ronald was born on April 30, 1946 in Carroll County, Virginia to Leeman and Grace Leedy Ayers.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Cox Ayers; sons and daughter-in-law Michael Lee and Tanya Ayers; Stephen Ronald Ayers; step-children Erik Marshal Funk; Kimberly Nicole Lundy all of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Sharon and Rex Anderson of Woodlawn, Virginia; Sue Brannock of Calabash, North Carolina; three grandchildren Justin Ayers, Lindsey Ayers and Laikyn Ayers; five step-grandchildren Preston Davis, Madison Lundy, Lukas Funk; Olivia Funk and Avery Davis; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with James Cowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
