Ronald Allen age 54 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at his home.

Ronald was born on August 8, 1963 in Welch, West Virginia to Zeb an Ellsie Blankenship Allen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Sage Allen; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Woody Underwood and four brothers Kenneth Allen, Johnny Blankenship, Jerry Allen and Rocky Allen.

He is survived by a daughter and her fiancé Amber "Nikki" Allen and Clayton Barr of Galax, Virginia; son Ronnie Lee Allen of West Virginia; grandson Zane Barr; brothers and sisters-in-law Donnie and Rena Allen; Zeb and Jean Allen all of West Virginia; Christopher Allen of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Midway Heights. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
