Roma Dale Shinault's Obituary
Roma Dale Shinault age 63 of Mt. Airy, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Roma was born in Fries, Virginia on June 30, 1948 to Boyd Lee and Katherine Semones Shinault. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Shinault; son Roma Dale Shinault, Jr. and a brother Roger Lee Shinault.
He is survived by his children Lisa Gough and Bess Shinault both of Fries, Virginia; David and Amanda Carper of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Amanda and Jamie Mabe of Galax, Virginia; special son Tim Gough; sisters and brothers-in-law Willa Dean and Ray Wilson of Fries, Virginia; Geraldine and Jerry Perry of Sparta, North Carolina; Lois and Junior Perry; Cecil and Susie Shinault; Kathy Lineberry all of Galax, Virginia; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at 384 Grayson Street, Fries, Virginia with Wayne Coleman officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
