Roger Lee Edwards, age 78, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday March 12, 2021 in Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, Virginia.

Mr. Edwards was born in Alleghany, North Carolina on July 3, 1942 to the late Bert and Ella Bedsaul Edwards.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Edwards of Galax; son and daughter-in-law Terry Roger and Kim Edwards of Galax; grandchildren Taylor Lee Edwards, Kelsey Horton; sisters Veneree Sparks, Kathleen Shaw, both of Alleghany; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service held on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 12:00PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Marvin Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, which friends may attend. There will be no visitation.
