Roger Lee Cox, Sr. age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday February 24, 2021 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Roger Lee was born on May 31, 1957 in Galax, Virginia to Kyle Roger and Kathleen Lawson Cox.

He is survived by his wife Vickie Cox of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Roger Lee Cox, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; Chris and Erin Cox of Galax, Virginia; granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Cox; sister Sheila Cox and Jerry Shockley of Woodlawn, Virginia; brother Danny Cox of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Romelle Lewis.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Dave White and Darian Byrd officiating.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Stroke Camp, 8000 North University, St. Peoria, Illinois 61615 or to Vickie Cox to help with the medical expenses for Roger.
