Rodney Allen Gunter's Obituary
Rodney Allen Gunter, 42, of Fries, VA passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center, Emporia, Virginia. Rodney was born May 23, 1969 to Dillard Twaughne and Jo Ann Evans Gunter. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Gunter, Fries, VA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Derrick & Michelle Gunter, Independence, VA, Darrin & Julie Gunter, Galax, VA; nieces, Brittney Nuckolls and Chelsea Gunter; nephews, Dillion Gunter, Jacob Gunter and Jared Robinson; special friend and caretaker, Tyrice Artis.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October, 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow in the Fries Cemetery.
Officiating ministers are the Rev. Bill Linkous, and the Rev. Russell Vass. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service Monday at the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church.
