Rodney Jason Byrd age 40 of Fries, Virginia passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his home.
Jason was born on April 18, 1977 in Galax, Virginia to Ronald and Carolyn Williams Byrd.
In addition to his parents of Fries, Virginia, Jason is survived by a daughter Sierra Lynn Byrd of Fincastle, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Melissa and Allen Martin of Galax, Virginia; two nieces Madison Martin and Payton Martin; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Billy Byrd and Pastor Bobbie Dunford officiating. Burial will follow in Cold Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
