Robert Ernest Nixon age 71 of Galax, Va. passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007 in Waddell Nursing Home. Mr. Nixon was born in Grayson County, Va. on April 21, 1936 to the late Ernest & Mozelle McMillan Nixon. He is survived by his wife Frances Anders Nixon of Galax, Va.; son & daughter-in-law Gregory & Angelia Nixon of Columbia, S.C.; sister & brother-in-law Lucille & Doris Arnold of Greensboro, N.C.; sister-in-law Linda Nixon of Fries, Va.; brothers-in-law & their wife Gary & Ann Anders; Danny & Sharryn Anders all of Galax, Va.; one granddaughter. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 15, 2007 at 7:00 PM in Cliffview Church of God with Rev. Ron Hill & Rev. Jerry Collins officiating. Burial will be Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until seven at Cliffview Church of God.
