Robert Thomas Faulkner, 54, of Independence, VA passed away at his home, Tuesday morning, August 4. He was born Decenber 29, 1954 to Ralph & Pearlie Hill Faulkner.
In addition to his parents,he is preceded in death his son Robbie Faulkner, brothers Everett & Rocky Faulkner and half-sister Ella Mae Summey.

He is survived by his wife Patty of the home; four sons and their wives: Thomas & Misty Hannah, Anthony & Brooke Hannah, James & Jamie Hannah all of Independence and Jamie & Tammy Hyatt of Fries; two brothers & their wives: Douglas & Elsie Gravley and Jerry & Brenda Faulkner of Fries; a sisters-in-law: Linda Faulkner & Teresa Faulkner also of Fries. Four step grandchildren, special friend and nephew: Bobo Gravley, several nieces & nephews & several special friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM at the Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fries with Hershel Brewer, Rev. Danny Tolley and Rev. Rodney Christman officiating.
