Robert Lee Creed, 61, passed away Sunday, July 9, at his home in Sparta. He was born September 1, 1955 in Grayson County Virginia to the late Brady Burton Creed and Rosa Lee Yonce Creed.

He is survived by his wife Hattie Jean Caudill Creed of the home; children Andy Pollen of Charleston, South Carolina; Trina Pollen and family of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania; Robin Creed and family of Trinity, North Carolina; Tiffany and Jon Alexander of Statesville, North Carolina; Donnie Blevins of Sparta, North Carolina; sisters and brother-in-law: Mary Jane Davis of Independence, Virginia; Linda and Ray Turman of Willis, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law: Scott and Rita Creed of Galax; Virginia; Jimmy & Carolyn Creed of Sparta, North Carolina; Paul and Lynn Creed of Glade Valley, North Carolina; Roger Greed of Galax; Bobby Kyle Creed of West Jefferson, North Carolina three aunts Ruby Norman and Holly Carr both of Galax, Virginia; Lanora Slater of King, North Carolina. Also surviving are six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; special fishing buddies: Cody Ayers and Dale Atkins and Canine Buddy – Joker and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Willies Fish Lake, 174 Lure Lane, Mount Airy NC 27030 with Rev. Joe Atkins officiating.
