Rev. Robert Glenn Burcham, Sr. age 64 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at his home.

Glenn was born in Grayson County, Virginia on June 6, 1945 to Creed & Lema Monday Burcham. In addition to his parents Glenn was preceded in death by two brothers Earl Ray Burcham and Donald Virgil Burcham.

He is survived by his wife Barbara P. Burcham of Woodlawn, Va.; children & spouses Tena & Wayne Swinney of Woodlawn, Va.; Robert Burcham, Jr. of Leesburg, Va.; Mae & Dan Gates of Cana, Va.; grandchildren Nicole Swinney; Crissa Swinney; Amanda Burcham & Jake Burcham; sisters & brothers-in-law Esther & Kenneth Dillon of Canton, Ohio; Daisy & Colden Linville, of Hillsville, Va.; Joyce & Layne Bartlett of Fancy Gap, Va.; Evelyn & Randy Parks of Woodlawn, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Elbert & Macie Burcham of Hillsville, Va.; several nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ray Bolen; Rev. Don Shelor and Ray Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Bishops Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
