Rita Dare Hedrick age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Ms. Hedrick was born in Wytheville, Virginia on February 10, 1945 to Cloyd Neal and Nancy Williams Hedrick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Gary Hedrick, two sisters Pattie Collins and Norma Giles.
She is survived by a brother Randy Hedrick of Galax, Virginia; sister Debra Burris of Galax, Virginia; brother-in-law and spouse Jeff and Tammy Collins of Wytheville, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
