Riley Bruce Mabe known as Bruce Mabe age 84 (almost 85) of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mr. Mabe was born on August 25, 1940 in Roanoke, Virginia to Tate and Mary Kenny Mabe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Frank Mabe.

He proudly served his country in the US Navy.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jo Mabe; daughter Mary Baber; son Gregory Mabe all of Woodlawn, Virginia; four grandchildren RJ Baber, Mason Baber, Kaelynn Mabe and Riley Mabe; several nieces and nephews; special fishing buddy David Redd.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Stacy Redd officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
