Ricky Lee Phillips' Obituary
Ricky Lee Phillips age 52 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013.
Ricky was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on August 16, 1961 to Roy Lee and Nannie Alice Asbury Phillips. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Deborah Black and brothers Robert Phillips and Jimmy Asbury.
He is survived by his son Chadrick Lee Harden (Chad) Phillips of Galax, Virginia; sisters Carolyn Briggs of Hillsville, Virginia; Loretta Byrd of Pocahontas, Virginia; Alice Kohl of Vienna, Virginia; brother Ronnie Phillips of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; the mother of his son Sandra Sharp of Galax, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Galax City Cemetery with the Elder Alex Payne officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until time to go the cemetery for the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
