Ricky Edward Goad age 48 of Galax, Va. passed away Monday December 4, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born in Grayson County, Va. on June 20, 1958 to Roy & Belinda Davis Goad. In addition to his mother Belinda Garland of Galax, Va. he is survived by his wife Gale Goad of Galax, Va.; daughters Candise Watson of King, N.C. and Terah Goad of Rural Hall, N.C.; brothers Jerry Goad of Greensboro, N.C.; Timmy Goad of Hillsville, Va.; five step-children; nine step-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Camp Zion Church. The funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 8:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Combs, Rev. Rodney Christman and Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Burial will be Friday December 8th at 11:00 AM in the church cemetery.
