Rickey Clark Manning age 58 of Galax, Va. passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 in Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center. Rickey was born on April 28, 1950 in Galax, Va. to Clifton Gray & Geraldine Todd Manning. In addition to his mother Geraldine Beamer of Galax, Va. he is survived by his daughter Missey Lee of Colonial Beach, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Elizabeth & David Williams of Galax, Va.; two grandchildren; one nephew; two nieces and a special friend Sue Sink. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2008 in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 11:00 am with Rev. Kevin Fiorini officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Mt. Valley Hospice or Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Building Fund, Galax, Va..
