Richard Max Hall age 94 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 1st at his home.

Mr. Hall was born in Comers Rock, Virginia on July 27, 1930 to John Wesley and Larma Ellen Comer Hall.

He is survived by his wife Senia Hall of Fries, Virginia; daughter Lori Hall Akers of Fancy Gap, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Melinda Hall of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; four grandchildren Brittany Hall; Danielle Hall; Jennifer Padgett and Christopher Akers; ; three great-grandchildren Andrew Brady; Allison Johnson and Jacob Padgett;  several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 12th in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Mary Hessler officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 12th  from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.  Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726.
