Richard Theron Buck age 66 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Richard was born on June 27,1949 in Washington, North Carolina to Seth Richard and Myrna Bittle Buck.
He is survived by his wife Sara L. Buck of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Thomas Cosgrove of Raleigh, North Carolina; sons and daughter-in-law Keith Buck of Chocowinity, North Carolina; Jason and Linda Buck of Winterville, North Carolina; step-daughter Kathy Henry; step-sons and spouse James and Angel Conner; Robert Conner; grandchildren Trent Buck, Ella Buck, Liam "Little Man" Cosgrove; Jason "Baby Boy" Cosgrove; six step-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Louise and Bob Glenn.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Fairview Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Holder officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service.
