Richard Lee Beamer's Obituary
Richard Lee Beamer age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 in Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Stuart, Virginia.
Mr. Beamer was born in Fries, Va. on June 10, 1928 to Fred and Mary Brown Beamer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters Evelyn Brown, Ruth Davis & Hilda Thomas; two brothers James Beamer and Blaine Beamer.
He is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Helen B. Howard, Christine Goins, Ada & Tony Scales all of Galax, Va., Frances & Jesse Brown of Cleveland, Ohio; brothers & sister-in-law William & Gay Beamer of Mt. Airy, N.C., Willard Beamer of Cleveland, Ohio, Raymond Beamer of Galax, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Daryl Beamer, Rev. Raymond Brown, Jr. and Elder Harold Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from two until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
