Rhonda Rebecca Anders age 54 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at her home.
Rhonda was born in Galax, Virginia on September 24, 1958 to Freddie Young Anders and Phoebe Ruth Lyons Anders.
She is survived by her husband Mike Hanks of Galax, Virginia; son Jacob Anders of Galax, Virginia; step-daughter Angie McFarland of North Carolina; step-son Darren Hanks of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara and Bob Hill of Belews Creek, North Carolina; Joy and Norwood Hodges of Talbott, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; special friends Jennifer Blankenship; Roy Wall and Patty Harrell.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Baywood with Elder Herbert Rutherford officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
