Rex Douglas Burcham age 71 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home.
Rex was born on July 10, 1944 in Grayson County, Virginia to Walter Howard and Hazel Juanita Anders Burcham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Otis Burcham and Swanson "Cotton" Burcham.
He is survived by his wife Lowana Jennings Burcham; son and daughter-in-law Tracy Douglas and Tracy Lianne Burcham all of Fries, Virginia; granddaughters and spouse Jenna Marie Keller; Ericah Rose Smith and Jacob Smith; sisters and brothers-in-law Melba Lineberry; Joyce Isom; Novella and Gerald Coleman; Shirley and Roy "Speck" Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law Lonnie and Betty Burcham all of Fries, Virginia; Gary and Vanessa Burcham of Fredericksburg, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friends Paul and Judy Porter.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Fries Cemetery with Tommy Harris and Jamie Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
