Rex Rhudy Blevins age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Blevins was born in Galax, Virginia on October 31, 1937 to Matha and Edith Vaughn Blevins.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Bryant Blevins of Galax, Virginia; daughter Amanda Blevins Leonard of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Maurye Blevins of Galax, Virginia; Monte and Angie Blevins of Fries, Virginia; three grandchildren Tilden Leonard; Bryant Leonard and Joshua Blevins; sister Mildred Frost of Graham, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Snow Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Ernie Smith and Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Snow Hill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Snow Hill Baptist Church or the Victory Way Baptist Church.
