Rennie Wilbur Cox age 77 of Galax, Va. passed away Friday, September 21, 2007 in Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Cox was born on Januray 28, 1930 in Carroll County, Va. to Virgil Barnett & Rosa Elizabeth Landreth Cox. He is survived by his wife Janice Wright Cox of Galax, Va.; sons David Cox of Galax, Va.; John Cox of Hillsville, Va.; sisters & brothers-in-law Betty Mae Cox; Bonnie & George W. Ayers; Nellrena Gonzalez all of Galax, Va.; Wilma & Taylor Boyd of Dublin, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Everett & Jean Cox of Galax, Va.; two grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; several great-nieces & nephews and special friend Loretta Green. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 24, 2007 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Jimmy Canup officiating. Burial will follow in River Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
