Remona Jean Snow Goad, age 85, Galax, VA, died Feb. 16, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Goad was born Feb. 10, 1933 in Carroll County, VA (Coal Creek Community), to Charlie Anderson and Ocie Mitchell Snow. In addition to her parents & husband of 67 years, Berlie Goad, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Evans, Ruby Hall; brothers, William R. Snow and Macil Snow.
Surviving is a foster-son & wife, Connie & Valerie Williams, Galax, VA; special niece, Delores Kincer, Galax, VA; sister, Nadene Lester, Norton, West Virginia; special sister-in-law, Sarah Snow, Laurel Fork, VA; special caregivers, Jennifer Swinney, Kayla McMickle, Jackie McMickle and several nieces & nephews
The funeral service will be held Monday, Feb.19, 2018 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service on Monday. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Officiating minister will be the Rev. James Cowley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baywood Rescue Squad.
