Rebecca "Becky" Ann Russell Muncy, age 62, of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday December 6, 2022 in her home.

Becky was born on June 24, 1960 in Galax, Virginia to Elmer and Ola Brown Russell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Larry Russell and her special companion Rufus.

She is survived by her husband Ellis "Sonny" Muncy of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Joan and Alan Hines of Galax, Virginia; uncle Mack Brown of Mountain City, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; several special in-laws; faithful caregiver Emily Stacy; and her special companion Yeager.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 2PM at Endless Possibilities Church with Pastor Ted Muncy and Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday December 9, 2022 from 6PM until 8PM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
