Rebeca "Becky" Lopez Caudell age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Becky was born on March 24, 1942 in Puerto Rico to Luis and Virginia Roca Lopez. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Luis Lopez.
She is survived by her husband Everett "Frank" Caudell of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Norman Everett and Buffy Caudell of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Thomas and Karen Caudell of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Anthony Caudell, Cameron Caudell and Summer Caudell; sisters Nilda Lopez, Sonia Lopez, Ana Lopez all of Puerto Rico; Evelyn Lopez of New York City, New York; sister-in-law and brother-in-law JoAnn and Larry Bowman of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother D.G. Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
