Reba Delp McGrady, age 89, of Galax, VA died Jan. 1, 2012 at the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center, Galax, VA.
Mrs. McGrady was born in North Carolina, Jan. 31, 1922 to Wiley and Mary Blevins Delp. Her husband, Ross McGrady, preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Charles Ray, Galax, VA; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Jackie McGrady, Galax, VA and Jerry McGrady, Troutville, VA; sister, Grace Morris, Lexington, NC; special sister-in-law, Ina Delp, Galax, VA; Grandchildren, Susan & Bryan Dillon, Micky & Chastity McGrady, Ricky & Julie Hodge, Tracy Stoneman, Mindy McGrady and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Officiating ministers will be Freddie Honaker and the Rev. John Grimm. There will be no visitation.
