Reba Diane Finley Mahaffey age 56 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her home.

Reba was born on December 7, 1959 in Welch, West Virginia to Ronald and Frances Lester Finley. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister Robin Finley and grandmother Mae Lester.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Harley Mahaffey; daughter and son-in-law Melanie and Mike Vanover; son and daughter-in-law Joseph Craig and Pam Mahaffey all of Galax, Virginia; mother Frances Finley of Gary, West Virginia; nine grandchildren Kelsey Snow, Donald (DJ) Snow, Ethan Gibson, Tori and Emma Mahaffey, Josh Liddle, Nathaniel Wilmoth and David (Bert) Gibson; Melissa Gibson of Gastonia, North Carolina; three great-grandchildren Zoie Cummings, Keaton Gibson and Cameron Gibson; sisters and brothers-in-law Rhonda and Steve Bowens of North Welch, West Virginia; Romonia and Lloyd Mitchem of Gary, West Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Ronald Gregory and Linda Finley of North Welch, West Virginia; two special aunts Margaret Lykens and Annetta Blankenship both of Gary, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Rodney Christman and Bryan Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
