Raymond Joe Louis Jennings' Obituary
Raymond Joe Louis Jennings, 70, of Galax, Virginia, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 in the Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, Virginia. He was born in Grayson County, Virginia on November 8, 1941 to Thomas J. & Ruby Goins Jennings.
He is survived by five sisters: Leonia McKinny, Christine Maxwell, Louise Willis all of Galax, Virginia; Hazel Ferguson of Sandford, Florida; Frances Thompson of Elk Creek, Virginia; three brothers Lawrence Jennings and Ralph Kyle both of Galax, Virginia and Leon Jennings of Brooklyn, New York. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Goins Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
