Raymond David Haga age 75 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mr. Haga was born on June 26, 1942 in Grayson County, Virginia to John H. and Gladys Dixon Haga. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Jayne Ella Vaughan Haga and brother Charles C. Haga.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette Underwood Haga of Fries, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Venetia and Brian Hale of Hurricane, West Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Johnetta and Jim Harden of London, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law Donald and Becky Haga of Alvord, Texas; Aaron ( Pat) Haga of Alta Vista, Virginia; grandchildren; Ryan David Hale; Jessi Caitlin (Mike ) Hale; step-daughter Janice Leonard Hackler of Pearisburg, Virginia; step-grandchildren Isaac Payne and Madeline Payne; nieces and nephews and their spouses Kent and Nanette Haga; Tiya and David Anderson; Jacob Harden; Janet ( Mike) Harden; Shaina and Brian Gemmell; Kasie and Marie Kemp; Zachary and Karianne Haga; bunches of cousins.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with his cousin the Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
