Raymond Wiley Eller age 89 of Galax, Virgina passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006 in Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born in Grayson County, Virginia on November 3,1916 to the late William & Lessie Hash Eller. He is survived by his wife Ann Creed Eller; daughter and son-in-law: Jean & Gary Kelley; a son and daughter-in-law, Ray & Regina Eller all of Galax, Va.; sisters Glee Shapiro of Galax, Va.; Mae Somers of Independence, Va.; and Edna Dixon of Winston-Salem, N.C.; brothers and sister-in-law, Paul Eller and Gene Eller both of Independence, Va.; Wayne & Helen Eller of Woodlawn, Va.; brother-in-law, James Cockerham of Winston-Salem, N.C.; three step-grandchildren and several neices and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Monta Vista Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. Rev. Fred Jennings will officiate.
