Ray Harrison Amburn age 82 of Rural Hall, North Carolina and formerly of Galax, Va. passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 in Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Amburn was born in Carroll County, Va. on May 7, 1925 to Wesley & Flora Amburn. He is survived by his wife Lucille Lowe Amburn of Rural Hall, N.C.; son Delmer Ray Amburn of Rural Hall, N.C.; one granddaughter and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. John Byerly officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
