Randy Lee Lawson age 31 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Randy was born on November 20, 1978 in Carroll County, Virginia
to James Carl & the late Kathy Starr Welch Lawson. In addition to his mother Randy was preceded in death by his brother Steve Lawson.
He is survived by his father James Carl Lawson of Galax, Va. and very special friend Tammy Mullis; nieces & nephew Brittany Lawson, Dillon Colt Lawson, Stephanie Lawson & Cheyene Lawson.
Randy was a 1998 graduate of Carroll County High School.
The funeral service will be held Friday, December 11, 2009 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Robert Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from ten until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
Randy's parents would like to thank all their friends and loved ones who stood by them and helped them through this trying time.
