Randall Eugene Whitaker age 54 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024  in the Woltz Hospice Home.

Randall was born in Galax, Virginia on June 1, 1970. He was preceded in death by his mother Edith Alene Hanks Whitaker. in addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Frances Hanks.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Robin and James Vaught of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Steven and Vickie Whitaker of Florida; nieces Emily Whitaker and Margaret Vaught; nephews Dalton Whitaker (Kylie); Ryan Whitaker and Steven Vaught; several other family members; caregivers and friends Anthony Iroler and Artie Romero.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Bryan Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
