Ralph Whitfield Padgett age 85 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Padgett was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 6, 1935 to Whitfield and Alice Elizabeth Stuart Padgett. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law Wilma and James Burnett and Mary Ruth and Gordon Bryant and brother-in-law Everett Calfee.

He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law Wanda and Joe Lineberry; Dorothy and Ivan Robinson; Brenda and Gary Hill all of Woodlawn, Virginia; Alice Ann and Harold Hill of Galax, Virginia; Faye Calfee  of Mechanicsville, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Ted Ray and Barbara Padgett of Galax, Virginia; Charles Padgett of Elk Creek, Virginia; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
