Ralph Joseph Mabe age,82 of Galax, Virginia passed away at his home Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Ralph was born on January 30, 1938 in Carroll County, Virginia to Walter Carl and Hathel Delp Mabe. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Michael Crouse.

He is survived by his wife JoEllen Lundy Mabe of Galax; children and spouses; Becky and Scott Thompson of Galax, Virginia; Mary and Edward Henley of Hillsville, Virginia; Dwayne and Denise Mabe of Galax, Virginia; Debbie and Gary Hamm of Longs, South Carolina; Mitch and Trina Crouse of Hillsville, Virginia; Mr. Mabe is also survive by brother-in-law and spouse; Don and Linda Lundy of Modesto, California; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Mabe was a member of many civic organizations including; Galax Moose Lodge; Oldtown Masonic Lodge 68 A.M.& A.F.; Fairview Ruritan Club.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2021at 2:00 PM  in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with  Pastor Jeff Combs officiating.

In lieu of flowers the Mabe family respectfully requests that donations be made to a charity of the donors choice; In addition the family respectfully requests no food contributions.
