Ralph Lee Patton age 77 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday January 4,2007 in Ridgecrest Manor Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born on May 27, 1929 in Grayson County, Va. to the late Ellis Evans & Nettie Jeanette Swinney Patton. He is survived by his wife Freida L. Patton of Galax, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Senia & Max Hall of Fries, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Harry (Red) & Dawn Patton of Fries, Va.; sister-in-law & husband Sue & Jack Higgins of Galax, Va.; brothers-in-law & their spouse Ivan & Mintie Ann Lindsey; Ray & Brenda Lindsey all of Galax, Va.; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday January 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Galax Presbyterian Church with Dr. Tom Whartenby officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
