Ralph McFoy Hill age 67 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 in the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Ralph was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 23, 1949 to Edgar Phipps and Leona Sue Wright Hill. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Earlene Faye Hill.

He is survived by his wife Esther Blevins Hill; daughter and son-in-law Chastity and Jason Boyles; son and daughter-in-law Dirk and Sheila Hill all of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren Hunter Hill; Zaine Goodman; Carrie Anauo; Caleb Hill; Rylee Goodman; Briley Anauo; Cade Anauo and Peyton Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law Darlene and Larry Sawyers; Mary and Mark Williams all of Fries, Virginia; Theresa Gunter of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Doug and Kathy Hill of Ohio; David and Faye Hill of Fries, Virginia; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Bill Linkous and the Rev. Chuck Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church.
