Ralph Edward Gardner age 50 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Sunday November 19, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born on December 20, 1955 in North Carolina to James Edward & Betty Joy Ayers Gardner. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Clara Hand Gardner of Woodlawn, Va.; daughters & sons-in-law Brandi & Marcus Lynch of Kingsport, Tennessee; Sherri & James Turner, Jr. of Hickory, North Carolina; Jennifer & Carl Dunst of Lenior, North Carolina; sister Darlene Gardner Felts of Woodlawn, Va., brother Richard James Gardner of Woodlawn, Va.;
seven grandchildren; one niece and six nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday November 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Charles Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726.The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
