Ralph Edward Cox age 61 of Ivanhoe, Virginia passed away Thursday night at his home in Fries, Virginia.

Ralph was born in Galax, Virginia on March 4, 1962 to William (Bill) Buerion and Betty Lee Edwards Cox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Christopher Litteral.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia (Cindy)  Elaine Litteral Cox; daughter Miranda Cox; son Justin Cox all of Ivanhoe, Virginia; sisters Frances Ferguson and Ruth Cox both of Galax, Virginia; one granddaughter Macie Rose Hanks; nieces and husband Jennifer and Johnny Walker; Heather Cox; two nephews Ben Ferguson and Laymond Ferguson; father-in-law Benny Litteral of Ivanhoe, Virginia.;

The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Sherman Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
